Before Wine


Guests have brought a crate of grapes from a daily visit to Bozcaada, as we can not make wine we thought... Grape&Ginger Jam; while preparing this jam I thought of my brother who is so far away from me for earning his life out of grapes, he is always a thought away not further I found out.

A kg of grapes, cut them into 2 or 4 pieces depending on your patience, take out the seeds, place them in the sun with a cup of sugar, let them enjoy a full sunny day, with sunset boil them with fresh ginger pieces at least half an hour.
