Driving from İstanbul to Troy is about 4-5 hours including the ferry crossing the Dardanelles.
While staying in Assos, you can make a daily visit to Troy, located between Assos and Çanakkale.
From Assos to the ancient site of Troy, Troia is about 60kms.
Assos Behramkale is a short driving distance to Troy. 2018 is announced to be the year of Troy.
Starting from 14th of April 2018 the site of Troy is open for visits at 08:00 am in the morning until 5pm 17:00hrs in the afternoon, everyday. The entry fee is 25tl, we highly recommend an audioguide that you can get on site but of course nothing is like a real good guide unless you already are one or you are an archaeologist.
